NEW YEAR means NEW ENDEAVOR for ME

We look forward to every New Year and give thanks for what we have left behind. We feel a bit wiser and challenge ourselves to do something new to better ourselves. Some of us might want to lose a few pounds and take up daily exercises. Others might challenge themselves to try something new or do something good for the community. I am not the exception. With a new year, I have decided to do something new as an author. I am not talking about writing a new Children Book like “A Beautiful Miracle of ‘Dream Big.’” I would like to try out a new genre in literature and push myself to write a novel.

This novel would be a Trilogy called “Holy War.” I am a bit nervous and excited about this novel since I never wrote anything like that before. A non-fiction book is usually based on a real-life story that readers might have heard about it before. All the author has to do is to carry out some research to collect data and then arrange it in a way that makes his/her story interesting and appealing to readers. I can talk about the same story, but give my own perspective that might be different from other authors. But, in the end, we all share the same framework as far as the storyline is concerned.

A novel is a bit more challenging for me as a writer. First, I would need to come up with a good storyline that readers would want to read and find out more about it. Then, I would have to create characters and scenes that people can relate to and wish to learn more about the entire storyline. “Holy War” is a storyline that has been on my mind since my days in the seminary. It is about a war between good and evil, light and darkness. This war is the result of the presence of two opposite powers: God and the Devil, Heaven and Hell. But, it did not stop there. It has continued to carry on down to earth as we see how the first human couple – Adam and Eve – fought the temptation of the Devil in the form of a snake and failed. Their two sons – Cain and Abel – then engaged in a personal “holy war” and ended up killing each other. Since then, our human family has been involved in thousands of wars and all kinds of violent acts that have caused miseries and destruction to one another without realizing their real instigator.              

The Trilogy “Holy War” is an attempt to help readers understand why evil and senseless violence exists. It also tries to look into the future and give readers a glimpse of the Apocalyptic Day and the next life. Countless number of wars in human history is a manifestation of the real “holy war” happening on earth. The question for readers to decide is which side they would like to be on in this war. I hope the Trilogy will not only entice readers to check out this intriguing novel but also give them the right tools to eliminate all the senseless violence and build up an peaceful and caring society for the human family.     Прошу прощения что не по теме, но очень надо. Собрали денег, захотел послать нуждающемся, погорельцам баню.Здесь нашел хорошие готовые мобильные бани бочки, вроде от производителя с более менее дешевыми рассценками. Дайте ссылку еще какие добросовестные производители с реальными ценами или может где есть распродажи в городе?
